Had to call the cleaning company to complain that the recently hired cleaners seem to be cleaning only half the house. They've been round twice now to 'do' and both times I've come home to find loads of stuff is clearly still dirty.

A lovely supervisior came round to do what Molly Maid call a Quality Check. Basically she slings on her white gloves and goes round the house with wetwipes rubbing things to see if the team have got anywhere close to cleaning the place properly. It turns out that they failed to do nearly half the tasks they're meant to.

I'm not obsessed about the house being clinically clean but when your paying someone to do a job you'd like them to have a pretty good go at it. The point of us getting cleaners was so that they would get the house spotless in only a way cleaners can. No matter how hard I try to keep on top of the cleaning I can always find much better things to do with my valuable time: going out, blogging, seeing friends blar blar blar.

But the results of having the Molly Maid in had been a total let down; they have even missed some of the things I do on a weekly basis. Anyway the cleaners are back tommorrow to give the house another going over. Hopefully with much better results.
