Next Tuesday will be our (David and I) third anniversary (although it seems that David thought it was next Monday) and we had been planning to head off for a very long weekend to Bilbao to celebrate what is nearly 21 years in 'straight years'. Sadly, because of various stuff going on at work, David can't manage to squeeze a few well-earned days off and so we've put our plans on hold until a little bit later in the year.

David not being able to take some time off won't stop us celebrating however. I've arranged for us to have a romantic night in a very smart London boutique hotel (I can't say where as it's a surprise for him) as well as us seeing a show and dinner. Hopefully it'll be a better celebration than last year's. I just hope that the hotel turns out to be as nice as it appears to be online.
