| I first met David in late September 2001 after he saw my profile on the profile site Gaydar.co.uk. We exchanged emails and also chatted on the phone before agreeing to meet up. We got on like a house on fire and we met up several times before i finally did the decent thing and asked him if he’d be my boyfriend. Fortunately for me he said 'yes'.
David works for one of the UK's top universities in a senior role within its Students Union. When he’s not working he loves to cook and can also juggle and firebreathe.
We've experienced some fantastic things together as well as having worked our way through some terrible ones and after nearly six years I'm proud to say we’re still going strong. At the moment we don't have any intention of having a civil partnership, but, who knows... one day we may change our minds.
